PANAGROTIKI SA, faithful to its vision and its values ​​which focus on the sustainable development of the producer and the provision of vertically integrated solutions up to the availability of the agricultural product on the market, proceeded a few days ago to enter into an important agreement with the ASEPO VELVENTOU “VELVITA” cooperative.

Specifically, PANAGROTIKI SA through this agreement provides the cooperative with the cold room it has in its privately owned premises in order to ensure the temporary storage of the agricultural products of the region. These products include peaches, nectarines, cherries, pomegranates, apples, vanillas and kiwis from producers in the Sperchios basin and the wider area.

In addition, with this specific agreement, PANAGROTIKI S.A.E.V.E., through its experienced agronomists, will provide the cooperating producers with agricultural advice in the field based on the instructions of the agronomists of the cooperative.

With this agreement we achieve the following:

Ensuring the producer’s income depending on his production and the quality he achieves each year. The producer contracts directly with the cooperative bypassing intermediaries, while the seriousness of the specific cooperative ensures that there will be a full correspondence of quantity-quality and value.
The producer can now think about his cultivation in the long term focusing on improving the quality of the product and increasing his production. In this direction, the agronomists of the cooperative together with the agronomists of PANAGROTIKI will contribute decisively by imparting cultural KNOW-HOW for stone fruits and apples of great importance for the region.
Existence of a cold room at a short distance from the field ensuring that all quantities of agricultural products intended for the cooperative will be able to be marketed in excellent quality without spoilage.
Provision of agronomic service in the field for the producer by the experienced agronomists of PANAGROTIKI in collaboration with the agronomists of ASEPOP VELVENTOU.
Many of the agricultural products of our region will be available through the cooperative not only in the domestic market but also in foreign markets, indirectly contributing to the extroversion of our local economy.
