Measure 11 “Organic Crops”<\/p>\n
Financial support under Measure 11 is provided with the aim of compensating the beneficiaries for the additional costs and transaction costs which, where appropriate, entail the conversion or maintenance of organic farming practices.<\/p>\n
Measure 11 aims to provide public goods that contribute to environmental protection and animal welfare. In particular, with regard to the achievement of environmental goals, it contributes to:<\/p>\n
in protecting soil and biodiversity through increasing organic matter and reducing pollutants
\nin the protection of waters through the reduction of pollutants
\nin improving the balance of greenhouse gases by increasing the organic matter of the soils
\nin climate change mitigation and adaptation
